This studio is for committed clarinet students who want meaningful, long-term progress — not rushed or temporary results.
Developing proper habits early prevents fatigue and technical ceilings later on.
Many students practise consistently every week, yet feel their progress remains slow, unclear, or unreliable when performing.
All students are trained through a clear, systematic professional framework:
We analyze your embouchure, voicing, breath support, and finger mechanics to pinpoint exactly what is limiting progress.
Each student receives a personalized weekly practice blueprint — detailing what to practise, how to practise, and why it matters.
Tone quality, breath control, embouchure stability, articulation speed, and finger dexterity are built properly in sequence.
Preparation becomes reliable and repeatable, ensuring your sound and technique hold up under high-stakes performance pressure.
Here is what meaningfully changes over 6 to 12 months of structured private instruction:

"Rayson had around six months of clarinet lessons at school before starting lessons in October 2024. Since then, we’ve seen a significant improvement in his playing, confidence, and overall musicianship. Konstantine has helped him build strong foundations and a much clearer understanding of his playing, and the results have been excellent. He was recently selected for a top state band on clarinet."
"Before starting lessons, my experience with the clarinet was limited to high school and I had only a basic understanding of the instrument. From the first lesson, Konstantine identified my habits and helped rebuild my playing on a stronger foundation. Over time, my confidence increased and I developed a clearer understanding of how to manage tone and consistency while playing. He encourages learning from mistakes and adapts his teaching to each student’s pace."
"My daughter Claire has been learning the clarinet with Konstantine for around two years. She has progressed from a beginner to playing pieces accurately and confidently, rather than simply getting through songs. He explains technique clearly, including breath control, finger placement, and tone production and is patient and encouraging throughout. Step by step, Claire’s sound and confidence have improved significantly."
Most children are ready to begin learning around 8 or 9 years old (Year 3/4), once their hands are large enough to comfortably reach keywork and their adult front teeth have settled. Teenagers and adults are welcome at any stage!

Online lessons are conducted using a desktop or laptop computer only to maintain appropriate audio quality.
Mobile devices (phones or tablets) are not suitable, as they do not allow the necessary audio settings for high‑quality music instruction.
Using a compatible external microphone can further improve sound clarity, particularly for tone and articulation work.
A stable internet connection and music stand are required. Setup guidance is provided in the first lesson.
